Personally, I believe both the Bible and the Quran were oral traditions that were written down at some point later than they were received.

As such, there will inevitably be some changes as oral tradition is generally not fully reliable..
The act of compilation of Mohammed's recitations, I believe, was primarily carried out by Zaid at the direction of Abu Bakr.
(Bukhari 6:59).
According to Bukhari, Zaid said he collected it from palm stalks, thin white stones, and from men who knew various parts by heart.
Zaid further states that the last verse Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) was remembered by only with one man (Abi Al Ansari) and no one else. In other words corroboration of that verse rested with only 1 man and there was no one else to verify its accuracy.
In additon, palm stalks and stones (and I believe camel bones also were used) implies a somewhat haphazard process of documentation. One can see that the whole pocess of compilation depended a lot on Zaid's memory and judgement about which men's memory was reliable as well as trying to make sure all the written verses preserved on palm stalks, etc, were gathered together .
Zaid himself recognized this as a very difficult task and likened it to shifting a mountain (again, Bukhari 6:59)
To believe that the Quran is unaltered from the original and complete recitations by Mohammed means that one must believe that the intermediate step of compilation by Zaid was also thoroughly under God's direct control. That intervention on God's part would have to be considered almost as siginificant as the revelation themselves.
Needless to say the claim that the present version of the Quran as documented by Zaid is unaltered from the original revelations, is going to be increasingly difficult to defend in an age of free and open inquiry where scholars have more access to info unknown to past generations.

unfortunately, statistics tell only part of the story.
There are more than a few people in Islamic countries who would leave the religion or perhaps convert to another, e.g. Bahai in Iran, who dare not because of the consequences for themselves and their families. To be an "apostate" in Islam is to bring upon yourself deadly consequences.
Better to keep your mind numb and your mouth shut and go with the flow. Don't ask questions and don't rock the boat.
The moderates certainly won't defend you when the radicals come to your home to slit your throat for abandoning your birth religion.

Thanks for the info.
As Islam comes under critical study in a way it never was subjected to before in the modern age, it will be hard-pressed to make a credible defense of its claims as having a monopoly on truth. A few muslims will just become violent in response to a questioning of their beliefs about the perfection of the Quran and its Messenger. Some will become increasingly reclusive, restricting their sphere of interaction only to like minded believers. Others will seek to satisfy themselves or others with specious arguments and intellectually dishonest rationalizations. But some will open their minds and begin to take the first steps to questioning and to freedom.

Excellent article. Thank you.
Oral preservation is notoriously inaccurate, and it is clear that the Uthmanic version of the Quran compiled painstakingly by Zaid after Mohammed died is only one of many. The process by which the Uthmanic version was accepted as the only one appears to have been largely driven by political considerations at the time.

But in Qoran shows that is Yesus is the "infinite"(god).
read this. it's writen in Qoran

*ONLY ALLAH SWT. CREATOR OF MORTAL
"… innal ladzina tad`una min dunillahi lay yakhluqu dzubabaw wa lawijtama`u lahu…."(Juz 17 Al-Hajj letter 22 sentence 73).
"...In fact which you exclaim besides Allah, they do not once can make them although fly congregate for that .."

*ISA as. HAVE CREATED MORTAL.
"..Inni akhluqu lakum minath thini kahai-atith thairi fa anfukhufihi fayakunu thaira.."(Juz 3 Ali-Imran letter3 sentence 49)
"..In fact I come to you by bringing a sign (miracle) of your The infinite that me make for U of land;ground in form of bird, then I breeze it, hence he become bird.."

*ONLY ALLAH SWT. KNOWING DOOMSDAY.
"Innallaha `indahu `ilmus sa`ati…"(Juz 21 Lukman letter 31 sentence 34).
" Allah have a crack of doom science"

*ISA as. ALSO KNOW DOOMSDAY and HE is The Right Way
"Ihdinash shirathal mustaqim"(Juz 1 Al-Fatihah letter 1 sentence 6).
"God show us the right way".

"Wa innahu la`ilmul lis sa`ati fa la tamtaruna biha wat tabi`uni hadza shiratum mustaqim" (Juz 25 Az-Zhukhruf letter 43 sentence 61)
"And in fact that Jesus gives correctness knowledge about doomsday, thats way you don't hesitate about that doom and follow the right way"

there so many things I like to show that in Qoran says ISA as. IS a SAVIOR
