Millions Miss out On Vaccine – Taliban at its Best

Polio vaccinations for over a million Afghan children have been cancelled, the World Health Organization said Tuesday after two doctors were killed in a Taliban suicide attack.

“Campaigns in the southern region are cancelled,” WHO spokeswoman Sona Bari told AFP.

The programme was due to start on September 21 and was intended to reach 1.2 million children aged under five in Afghanistan’s southern regions, she said.

Two Afghan doctors working for the WHO were killed in a suicide car bombing in southeastern Afghanistan Sunday that was claimed by the Taliban.

The WHO said that a similar campaign in the eastern provinces of Nangarhar, Kunar and Laghman was still likely to go ahead, as were future campaigns in the south in October and November.

Muslim Student Union Fights For the Right to Incite Murder

Established in 1963 by the Muslim Brotherhood — the inspiration for al-Qaeda and Hamas — the Muslim Students Association was listed in documents written by a Muslim Brotherhood operative and seized by the FBI in 2007 as an organization to help “destroy Western civilization from within.” According to a February 2008 New York Times article, the MSA was financed by Saudi Arabia when it first began appearing throughout North America in the late 1950s and “pushed the kingdom’s puritan, Wahhabi strain of Islam.”

Extremism is a systemic problem with the Muslim Students Association network. For example, Sheikh Khalid Yasin, who has spoken at a multitude of campuses throughout the country and at events at the MSA National level, has denied al-Qaeda was involved in 9/11 and believes that homosexuals should be killed in accordance with the Koran. Norman Finkelstein, who has also spoken for various Muslim Students Association groups, has been featured at the University of Maryland, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Harvard, Columbia, and many others. Imam Abdul Alim Musa, a radical imam and founder of the As Sabiqun (Arabic for “The Vanguard”) movement, has been featured at UC Irvine, MIT, Mount Holyoke College, and other campuses.

Therefore it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Muslim Student Union chapter at the University of Southern California (USC) acts in accordance with its sister chapters, and until recently hosted a violent quote in the “compendium” of hadiths on the USC Muslim Students Association page. The quote advocates massacring Jews as a pathway of redemption for Muslims, and reads as follows:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.

The David Horowitz Freedom Center worked with the Simon Wiesenthal Center to draft a letter to Alan Casden, a USC trustee, about the “hadith of hate,” as it is often called. Disturbed that a call for genocide should be on the USC server, Casden contacted Provost Chrysostomos Nikias to express his concern. Nikias investigated the matter and sent Casden the following letter:

The passage you cited is truly despicable and I share your concerns about its being on the USC server. We did some investigations and I have ordered the passage removed.

The passage in the hadith that you brought to our attention violates the USC Principles of Community, and it has no place on a USC server.

The University of Southern California, a private university, has strict Principles of Community which state, in part: “No one has the right to denigrate another human being on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, etc. We will not tolerate verbal or written abuse, threats, harassment, intimidation, or violence against person or property.” No student group other than the Muslim Students Association has posted any kind of material, religious or otherwise, calling for the destruction of a race or group.

USC’s decision to remove the hadith from the school’s server marks the first time that an American university has recognized that the Muslim Students Association’s agenda involves the promotion of ethnic hatred. It is also the first time that an administrator has acted to remove “despicable” material.

A statement issued by the Muslim Student Union at USC suggested that the hadith was being taken out of context and called the school’s decision to remove it from the website “unprecedented and unconscionable.” The Muslim Student Union accused the USC administration of practicing unfair censorship. However, following the controversy with the Danish cartoons, Muslim students called for censorship and protested at several universities, including UC Irvine, when the cartoons were unveiled in an academic seminar. The protests included MSA students from various universities, including USC.

Moreover, although the provost ordered the removal of the more accessible versions of the hadiths calling for slaughtering of Jews and the one that was brought to his attention, the same quote still appears in different variations in Bukhari on the USC MSA website and are difficult to locate unless one knows what they’re looking for:

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar:

Allah’s Apostle said, “You (i.e., Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, ‘O ‘Abdullah (i.e., slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.’”

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

Just in case these vanish, here are some screen shots:

hadith.jpg

The hadith also appears in another variation later along in Bukhari:

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 791:
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar:

I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “The Jews will fight with you, and you will be given victory over them so that a stone will say, ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew behind me; kill him!’”

These quotes appear in more than one location, as is traditional in Islamic theology and an indication of authenticity. Since early 2008 the Muslim Students Association has been asked to repudiate this genocidal hadith and terrorist organizations by the David Horowitz Freedom Center. Every individual MSA chapter has failed to repudiate the genocidal imperative contained within the hadith and has also failed to condemn terrorist groups like al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

No Eating Lest Ye Offend The Muslims (The Glory of Ramadan on the Non-Muslim Community)

DOCTORS and health workers have been banned from eating lunch at their desks – in case it offends their Muslim colleagues.

Health chiefs believe the sight of food will upset Muslim workers when they are celebrating the religious festival Ramadan.

The lunch trolley is also to be wheeled out of bounds as the 30-day fast begins next month.

But staff and politicians branded the move political correctness gone mad and warned that it was a step too far.

Bill Aitken, the Scottish Conservative justice spokesman, said: “This advice, well-meaning as it may be, is total nonsense.

“It is the sort of thing that can stir up resentment rather than result in good relations.”

The new guidance comes in the wake of the failed terror attacks on Glasgow and the death of suspect Kafeel Ahmed, 27.

Health chiefs in Lothian and Glasgow will give all employees time off to pray and to celebrate Eid, which marks the end of Ramadan.

But Greater Glasgow and Clyde as well as Lothian NHS boards also issued the advice, warning workers not to take working lunches, and said all vending machines should be removed from areas where Muslims work.

One senior consultant said: “What next? Are we going to have advice on how to deal with Catholics during Lent?
“This kind of thing does more harm than good.”

The guidance, which was sent round many organisations, was produced by Glasgow consultancy Meem, which advises on Muslim issues and counts the Scottish Parliament among its clients.

During the period of Lent the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church (specifically) and other Christian denominations fast for a period of 40 days.  The grand total of people belonging to these denominations dwarfs that of the Islamic community, especially in the United Kingdom.

Should everyone else be subject to these rules during the period of Lent?

This is a hypocritical move.

(Note, the Eastern and Wester Churches celebrate lent at different times so the period would be over 40 days)

Who are you?

Throughout our relatively short history many charges have been brought against the site regarding who it is run and funded by. Some times the claims are simply ignored for their absurdity whereas other times they are addressed in the comment replies.

Firstly, we are not funded by any special interest group, political party or ‘zionist organisations’. Recently a claim was spread on social networking sites that we were funded by the Israeli intelligence agency MOSSAD. This is another farfetched and false claim however there are people within the Islamic community willing to believe this. Any criticism of Islam they try and write off as part of a Zionist plot or Jewish persecution instead of examining the legitimacy of the claims.

Regarding the details of who we are for various reasons much is veiled. This is not to deceive but it is for the protection of our authors who come from all walks of life. If authors wish to bring their identity forwards they may and many do by referencing themselves by name as the author of their articles.

Some of our contributors include people from the United Kingdom, the US,  Australia, Pakistan, India, Lebanon, Indonesia and other locations that are not known to myself. The credentials of our various authors vary from no formal academic qualifications to doctorate students. Non-Muslims, ex-Muslims and even Muslims.  We have regular articles by published authors, public debaters and even lecturers.
We will soon be expanding our format and will reorganise articles accordingly as when this site was originally conceived we did not expect such a great influx of visitors and contributions.

Muhammad’s Polytheism in Islam

Muslims brag that they believe in one God! But is it really true? Why Allah Himself emphatically admitted in the Holy Quran (37:125; 23:72) about the existence of different Gods?

Islam claims to be a monotheistic belief system! The basic ‘mantra’ of Islam is that there is one God! The Kalima Tyyaba, the Muslim profession of faith, says: “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.”

This is the basic teaching of Islam. According to this Islamic ‘mantra’ there is only one God, who is Allah. In fact, Islam does not recognize any other God or Gods, period. That is the basic reason why the puritan Muslims do not respect any other religion and entertain the desire to eliminate all other creeds and establish Islam as the sole religion on Earth, which belongs to Allah alone. At least, this is what most pukka (real) Muslims (the al-Qaeda Jihadis) do believe!

This is the main reason why Muslims in the West can never integrate with the culture of their host nation. This is the basic reason why Muslims are causing troubles in almost every country on earth. In fact, Muslims in the western societies are basically a cancerous element in the cultural mix of any host nation. Truly speaking, pure Muslims (Jihadi varieties) can not mix with the gullible Muslims or general public even in their country of birthPakistan, Bangladesh, Algeria and Indonesia, for example.

For the same reason, Prophet of Islam had declared war against the polytheists of his birthplace and relentlessly fought at least 78 battles killing thousands of infidels and enslaved thousands of their men, women and children. Only crime those poor infidels had committed was their belief systems in polytheistic and other non-Islamic religions.

Muhammad forced them to believe in one sole God, namely Allah and None else! As per this belief system of Prophet Muhammad—there isn’t a God other than Allah. Another verse in the Quran says:

3:18: There is no god but He…!

According to this verse alone, again we are to believe that Islamic basic teaching is just one God—which is Allah!

Surprisingly, however, one can find some Quranic verses which are telling the different story altogether! Let’s examine the following two verses:

Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators, [Quran: 37:125, Yusuf Ali]

Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. [Quran: 23:72, Yusuf Ali]

In these two verses, Allah tells a different story. “Best of creators” means one creator who is better than some other creators. Therefore, Muslims believe there are multiple creators; Allah being the best of them all—whom Muslims must worship.

Similarly, “Best of those who give sustenance” means Allah is best giver of sustenance than the other Gods. In other words, Allah can give better nourishment or better livelihoods than the other Gods out there. Therefore, Muslims should worship to Allah alone, who can offer them the best of goodies. Allah is like a politician, who urges voters to give their allegiance to him offering them the best of goodies, if chosen.

In the above two Quranic verses Allah clearly admits the existence of multiple Gods; He being best of Them. Therefore, the Muslim claim that there is only one God is false and ridiculous in the least. Allah himself refutes this uneducated claim of Muslims.

Baal, the Moon God, whom Pagans used to worship was also another God but less powerful, weak and imperfect than Allah – may be! All those 360 idols kept in the Ka’ba and later destroyed by the Prophet of Islam, were also Gods of some quality, although inferior or less powerful than Allah.

The million dollar question is why then Allah called Pagans nonbelievers who may have believed in BAAL the Moon-God, or in other 360 different Gods?

Was Allah lying to Muslims? Why Allah asked Muslims (in Quran) to kill others who did not believe in Islam?

Could any Islamic scholar explain this Islamic puzzle?

An Interview with Brigitte Gabriel

Brigitte Gabriel is a wonderful author and activist who has first hand experience dealing with Islam, Islamic extremists and Islamic terrorist organisations. Here is an interesting interview that appeared on the New York Times website.

I recommend her book ‘Because They Hate’ to anyone interested in Islamists, the Lebanese Civil War, Role of Israel in Lebanese Christian resistance or just a touching human story.

As a Lebanese-Christian immigrant who spent her girlhood amid the bloody devastation of the Lebanese civil war, you have lately emerged as one of the most vehement critics of radical Islam in this country. Are you concerned that your new book, “They Must Be Stopped,” will feed animosity toward Muslims? I do not think I am feeding animosity. I am bringing an issue to light. I disapprove of any religion that calls for the killing of other people. If Christianity called for that, I would condemn it.

What about all the moderate Muslims who represent our hope for the future? Why don’t you write about them? The moderate Muslims at this point are truly irrelevant. I grew up in the Paris of the Middle East, and because we refused to read the writing on the wall, we lost our country to Hezbollah and the radicals who are now controlling it.

In your new book, you write about the Muslim presence in America and bemoan the rise of Islamic day schools and jihad summer camp. Is there really such a thing? Yes. Instead of taking lessons on swimming and gymnastics, the kids are listening to speakers give lectures titled “Preparation for Death” and “The Life in the Grave.”

You also lament the public foot baths that have been installed at the University of Michigan and elsewhere to accommodate Muslim students. I lived in the Middle East for the first 24 years of my life. Never once did I see any foot-washing basins in airports or public buildings. So why are they pushing them down the throats of Americans?

I can’t get upset if people want to wash their feet before they pray. This is the way they are taking over the West. They are doing it culturally inch by inch. They don’t need to fire one bullet. Look what is happening in Europe. Do we want to become like “Eurabia”?

But relatively few Muslims live in this country — about three million, or 1 percent of the population, whereas Amsterdam, for instance, has been estimated to be as high as 24 percent Muslim. They started as guest workers in Europe; they grow at a much faster rate than any other religion.

Your last book related the story of your childhood in southern Lebanon, where you hid out in a bomb shelter for seven years after your house was destroyed by a Muslim militia. Were you surprised it became a best seller? No, I was not surprised. Anyone can relate to a story about human suffering inflicted by radicals.

Are your parents still in Lebanon? I became an orphan at the age of 23. Both my parents are buried in Israel, on Mount Zion, with Oskar Schindler.

Why did you bury them in Israel? I wanted to honor my parents. After all, it is the Holy Land. And I wanted to ensure that both my children will know where my loyalty lies — with Israel, because Israel for me represents democracy, respect and human rights, something that no other country in the Arabic world offers.

Are you an agent of the U.S. government? No.

Are you underwritten by the C.I.A.? No. Are you kidding? In 2000, I voted for Al Gore.

But I see that R. James Woolsey, a former director of the C.I.A., serves on the board of American Congress for Truth, your educational foundation. We also have John Loftus, a staunch Democrat and former Justice Department prosecutor. We are not Red or Blue.

Where do you live? I do not share that information because of the death threats I receive.

Threats from anyone we know? Al Qaeda mentioned my name on their top Internet sites and recently sent a press release about my work.

If you are worried about death threats, why would you put a glamorous photograph of yourself on the cover of your new book? In Lebanon, we were raised to be glamorous, feminine and sensual. It’s the only good thing we inherited from the French.

Iran: Death to non-Muslims

Lawmakers in Iran are considering a proposal to make the death penalty automatic for those who leave the Muslim faith.

Abe Ghafari of Iranian Christians International, Inc. (ICI) was at least a little surprised to learn the news. “Before, it was like an option that an Islamic judge could decide to use or not to use — but now it will become an automatic thing. And from the language of the legislation, it seems like something that cannot be appealed,” Ghafari contends.

The death penalty would primarily apply to those who convert to the Christian faith. “There are large numbers of conversions from Islam, maybe even in the tens of thousands every year, and this is causing concern in the Islamic circles in Iran,” Ghafari explains.

People who use the Internet to convert people away from the Muslim faith will also be subject to the death penalty. Ghafari was asked if this information shocked him. “Yes, it does a bit because we do know that under Islamic law of Iran, there was always this option of issuing death penalties for any conversions from Islam. So this was already available, but it looks like they just want to escalate persecution – making the death penalty almost automatic for anyone who converts from Islam,” Ghafari adds.

While Christians are the primary target, anyone converting to the Bahá’í faith will also face the death penalty. Ghafari sees trouble ahead, and is hopeful Christians everywhere will pray for the underground church in Iran.

Information on legislation provided by ICI about Iranian apostasy and the death penalty is available here.
